About TextUni
Focused online tools for everyday text work.
What TextUni is
TextUni is a growing collection of free online text tools. It is built for people who need to count, review, transform, or prepare text without using complicated software or creating an account.
Our goal is straightforward: common text tasks should be fast, clear, and easy to complete on desktop and mobile.
Current TextUni tools
TextUni currently focuses on three useful text-tool families:
- Word Counter for words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, lines, and reading time.
- Case Converter for uppercase, lowercase, title case, sentence case, and developer naming formats.
- URL Encoder & Decoder for encoding URL components and decoding percent-encoded text.
How TextUni is developing
TextUni is being developed as an expandable family of closely related text tools. Future tools may cover related text analysis, case conversion, encoding and decoding, text cleaning, transformation, extraction, and selected developer-focused text tasks.
We do not intend to place every possible action inside one oversized workspace. Each future tool should have a clear purpose, a focused interface, and useful content for the task it supports.
Simple, practical, and usable
TextUni is designed to make text tasks easier. We aim to use clear headings, readable content, compact editors, internally scrolling text areas for longer input, and actions that remain easy to reach while working.
We also aim to improve accessibility and usability over time, including keyboard-friendly controls, readable contrast, logical page structure, and mobile-friendly tool layouts.
Privacy-focused tool design
The current TextUni tools are designed to process supported text operations in browser-side JavaScript. This helps keep ordinary text tasks fast and avoids requiring a separate TextUni account for normal use.
